This tutorial will show you how I decorate  pumpkins for Fall

Decoupage Fabric or Paper Napkin Covered Pumpkins

Tutorial to make Decoupage pumpkins from with paper napkins or Fabric and plastic pumpkins to work with any fall decor you wish

Use matte @modgepodge https//www.michaels.com( always sign up for rewards club and grab your 40% coupon)

Purchase white plain plastic pumpkins for Decorating at Michaels . Cut strips with a rotary cutter and self healing mat from Hobby Lobby.   The APP always has 40% off an item not already on sale

1.  cut 2 inch strips – 1/4 yard covered the entire small pumpkin

  • 2.  Add the Modge Podge and wrap each strip and continue until  finished. Pull tight the strips and start painting on the Modge Podge  then, position them around the pumpkin – ( eyeball this one) . Keep adding strips until full , then Modge Podge the entire pumpkin all over and let dry. Modge Podge the entire surface and let dry completely .
  • Decoupage with paper Napkins

Paper napkins are so  delicate –  cut them into strips a – and then  very carefully remove the 2 ply making this very thin paper !!-Apply modge Podge to the pumpkin first, then add the paper very carefully (it will want to rip ) Tap it in with a foam brush – all around and keep adding pieces – if you rush like I do – ( not smart ) I had to turn mine over in a glass dish to dry – If  some pieces come off –  it’s an easy fix to just cutout some more paper and add away –

My napkins were gifted to me from Celebrate the Home – my love Of hydrangeas is well known if you watch my insta Homewithgigi

I’ll share the final product once I decorate it 😉
